The "Shoujo Ai" manga genre, often abbreviated as "Shoujo Ai" (literally meaning "girls' love"), focuses on romantic relationships between female characters. It is a subgenre of yuri manga, which depicts romantic and/or sexual relationships between female characters, but with a lighter and often more innocent tone.
