Review of the plot of Naruto Shippuden Movie 2

The movie begins with a scene where a mysterious group of ninjas from the Sky Country launches a sudden attack on the Leaf Village. The reason for the attack is that during the Second Great Ninja War, the Leaf Village destroyed the Sky Country’s territory. The group initiates the assault on the Leaf Village, causing widespread chaos with Sora-nin flying using Winged Mechanical Devices and attacking the village. A boy named Amaru embarks on a long journey to inform his teacher, who is currently in Konoha, about the attack on their village and seeks his help in treating the injured.

Naruto wants to join the fight to rescue the Leaf Village, but he encounters a mysterious man who changes his decision. This man is Shinnou, Amaru’s teacher. After several interactions to understand each other’s situations, Naruto, Sakura, and Hinata decide to escort Amaru and Shinnou back to the village. Meanwhile, Orochimaru orders Sasuke to find and bring back a skilled medical ninja. This sets the stage for the fateful reunion between Naruto and Sasuke, which fans have been eagerly anticipating in Naruto Shippuden: Mission: Impossible. Naruto, Sakura, and Hinata accompany Amaru and Shinnou through a forest filled with strange creatures and poisonous animals, using small rowing boats to navigate the river. Suddenly, a Sora nin scout appears in the sky. Sakura, Hinata, and Shinnou hide on the riverbank, while Naruto and Amaru hide underwater until the Sora nin passes by. While underwater, Amaru drops a scalpel, a gift from her beloved teacher, and she dives to retrieve it. In the process, she gets entangled in water weeds. After freeing Amaru from the weeds and helping her back to the boat, Naruto realizes that Amaru is, in fact, a girl, as she has breasts and a bra. Naruto blushes before being bitten by a poisonous piranha and faints. When Naruto wakes up with a flushed face, partly because Amaru is sucking out the poison from his thigh wound, which saves Naruto’s life, he asks her if she is a girl and wonders if Amaru has feelings for her teacher. Naruto is promptly slapped by Amaru.

Meanwhile, in Konoha, the Sora nin retreats due to running out of chakra to continue flying, prompting Konoha to send another special team to locate their base. Sai approaches the ships they are using as a base near the coastline with one of his ink birds to attract their attention and assess their abilities, while Shikamaru and Kakashi hide behind some rocks near the shoreline, waiting for the fourth member of their team, Shino, to infiltrate and destroy their base.

In Orochimaru’s hideout, Orochimaru becomes even weaker due to his body-transferring technique nearing its expiration. Kabuto is taking care of him and informs Sasuke that the Sora nin are attacking Konoha. Sasuke responds that he doesn’t care. Orochimaru orders Sasuke to capture and bring him someone who can help him perfect the reincarnation technique. Naruto and his team finally arrive at Amaru’s village and find it heavily damaged, with some areas reduced to rubble and no sign of the villagers. Amaru runs around trying to find some villagers before accidentally triggering a trap that releases a barrage of kunai towards her. Her teacher, Shinnou, rushes in to block the kunai and protect her but gets shot in the process. Naruto, Sakura, and Hinata arrive at the scene but it’s too late, and Shinnou dies from his critical injuries. After Amaru regains consciousness, they continue searching for the villagers, while Sasuke is on his way to the village. This is followed by thrilling attacks and unexpected encounters between Shinnou, Naruto, and Sasuke to save Amaru’s village.
