What is Akatsuki?

1. Pain Six Paths

 

Nagato created the Six Paths of Pain after being crippled in battle with Hanzo. Unable to move or act on his own, Nagato controlled six dead bodies to carry out his will.
Just a single attack from the Deva Path of Pain wiped out more than half of the Leaf Village. When confronting Pain, Naruto had to exert all his effort and luck to successfully defeat all six bodies of the Six Paths of Pain. If Nagato had the ability to fight on his own, Naruto would have likely been easily defeated.

2. Uchiha Sasuke

It can be said that Sasuke Uchiha is the second strongest ninja in the Akatsuki organization. Sasuke played a crucial role in the Fourth Great Ninja War and was the deciding factor in the Allied Shinobi Forces’ victory against Kaguya Otsutsuki.

3. Uchiha Itachi

Itachi Uchiha is considered a prodigy of the Uchiha Clan. Even from a young age, Itachi’s skills and power were recognized by everyone. Like Itachi, Obito possesses the Mangekyou Sharingan and a unique ability called Kamui. With Kamui, Obito can send parts of his body or other objects to the Kamui dimension, making them intangible and allowing attacks to pass through him. Obito also knows the forbidden techniques of the Uchiha Clan like Izanagi, giving him unpredictable combat abilities.

5. Konan

Konan is one of the three orphaned children of the Hidden Rain Village whom Jiraiya adopted and trained. After Yahiko’s death, Konan took care of Nagato. She is a very strong ninja, and her ninjutsu techniques resemble the art of origami from Japan.

Furthermore, she is a sharp and intelligent person. Konan was the one who found a way to counter Obito’s time-space ninjutsu. She could overpower Obito in battle, and Obito could only survive by using the forbidden technique Izanagi when fighting Konan.

6. Kisame

Kisame is one of the Seven Swordsmen of the Mist, renowned for his sword Samehada, which can absorb chakra. After leaving the village and becoming a rogue ninja, Kisame became Itachi’s partner in Akatsuki.

Kisame has an astonishing chakra reserve, earning him the nickname “Tailless Tailed Beast.” He can easily overpower and subdue some Jinchuriki.

7. Orochimaru

9. Kakuzu

Kakuzu is Hidan’s partner and the second oldest member of Akatsuki. Before leaving the Hidden Water Village, he stole a scroll that allows him to steal the hearts of other ninjas, thereby extending his own life.

In the battle against Shikamaru and Kakashi’s team, Kakuzu possesses five hearts, and all the hearts need to be destroyed to defeat him. Kakashi destroys the first heart with his Chidori, the second heart is accidentally destroyed by Hidan, and Naruto destroys the remaining hearts with his Rasenshuriken.

10. Uchiha Shin

Uchiha Shin is one of Orochimaru’s experimental subjects. He was obsessed with Itachi Uchiha and decided to create a new Akatsuki on his own. Shin believes that peace is the greatest obstacle to the evolution of humanity.

Hidan is immortal and uses his opponents’ blood to inflict pain and ultimately kill them. His immortality makes it challenging to confront him. However, Hidan fails to fully exploit his immortality and is ultimately defeated by Shikamaru Nara.
