My Hero Academia Season 7
My Hero Academia has officially announced details about season 7
Studio Bones’ My Hero Academia, often dubbed the “golden goose,” wastes no time in building anticipation for Season 7, immediately following the conclusion of Season 6.
Brief Overview of My Hero Academia:
In a world where 80% of the population possesses extraordinary abilities known as Quirks, these powers have become a societal standard. Superheroes with exceptional strength have emerged to fight and protect this supernatural world. Midoriya Izuku, a second-year student, dreams of becoming a hero despite lacking any Quirks—a rarity in this super-powered society, earning him the label “Quirkless.” Despite the odds, Midoriya’s optimistic, life-loving personality and willingness to help others captivate audiences. Although lacking powers, he nurtures the dream of becoming a genuine hero.
In a stroke of luck, Midoriya encounters All Might, the world’s number one hero and his idol. All Might bestows upon him the “One for All” Quirk, changing Midoriya’s destiny.
My Hero Academia Overview:
Boku no Hero Academia (My Hero Academia) stands as a Japanese superhero manga, written and illustrated by Horikoshi Kohei. Premiering in Weekly Shonen Jump in July 2014, the series has released 37 volumes. The narrative centers around Midoriya Izuku, affectionately known as “Deku,” a boy born without superpowers in a world where having extraordinary abilities is the norm. Despite his lack of powers, Deku aspires to become a true superhero.
Driven by his determination, Deku’s efforts are rewarded when All Might, the world’s greatest hero, recognizes his worth and shares his powers. This extraordinary gift leads Deku to enroll in a high school for aspiring superheroes.
The manga has been adapted into an anime series by Studio Bones, with the first season airing in Japan from April 3 to June 26, 2016, followed by subsequent seasons. As of now, there are six seasons, and the official announcement for Season 7 has been made.
Season 7 Confirmation:
Following the introduction of Dark Deku in the anime, the series has garnered immense attention from viewers. According to leaks from Weekly Shonen Jump magazine, Boku no Hero Academia will indeed have a Season 7, announced immediately after the conclusion of Season 6. Studio Bones seems keen on capitalizing on the show’s ongoing popularity. Since its anime debut in 2016, “Boku no Hero Academia” has consistently maintained its strong presence year after year.
While there is no official release date, considering the continuous release of popular Shonen titles throughout 2023, such as “Kimetsu no Yaiba” (Demon Slayer), “Jujutsu Kaisen,” and “Shingeki no Kyojin” (Attack on Titan), it is highly likely that Deku and other superheroes will “take shelter” from the storm and reunite with audiences in 2024.
